A MAN admitted to injuring a woman during an altercation near a hotel on Paradise Island but denied threatening to kill her.
Prosecutors allege Onyekachi Hillary, 36, of Nigeria, threatened to kill Ijeoma Alele during an altercation near Bayview Suites Hotel at 10.30pm on August 6.
Hillary also reportedly injured Ms Alele during the incident.
He pleaded guilty to causing harm before Deputy Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville but pleaded not guilty to threats of death.
The prosecution raised no objection to bail, which was set at $1,500 with one or two sureties.
Hillary’s trial is scheduled to begin on December 8.
