Four men accused of theft of $4,600 from Atlantis restaurant

FOUR men were accused of stealing more than $4,600 collectively while working at a restaurant at Atlantis Resort this summer.

Prosecutors allege Alexidieu Sufoir, 19, stole $1,007.45 from Claudio’s Restaurant at Atlantis and falsified its accounts while working as a bartender between June 8 and July 15.

Giovanni Tucker, 35, allegedly stole $588.75 from the restaurant and falsified its accounts while working as a server between May 8 and June 10.

Tareves Eneas, 30, allegedly stole $503.25 from Claudio’s and falsified its accounts while working as a waiter between May 10 and July 6.

Remei Moore, 26, allegedly stole $2,505 from the restaurant and falsified its accounts while working as a busser between May 1 and July 15.

All four pleaded not guilty to separate charges of stealing by reason of employment and falsification of accounts before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

Bail was set at $5,000 with one or two sureties each.

As a condition of bail, the accused must sign in at their local police stations every Thursday by 7pm.

All four defendants return for trial on September 26.

Corporal Moultrie prosecuted the case.
