A MAN was accused of stabbing a security guard at a West Bay Street hotel last weekend.
Prosecutors allege Raleigh Storr, 38, stabbed Askew Wallace in the shoulder while he was working at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel on August 22.
Mr Wallace was treated in hospital for serious injuries.
After electing to have his case tried in the Magistrate’s Court, Storr pleaded not guilty to grievous harm before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.
Storr was granted $7,000 bail with one or two sureties. Under the terms of his bail, he must be fitted with a monitoring device and sign in at Cable Beach Police Station every Sunday by 9pm.
His trial is scheduled to begin on November 25.
Corporal Moultrie served as the prosecutor.
