AN American tourist was warned and discharged yesterday after admitting he exposed himself to a woman at the Royal Beach Club and later resisted arrest at the Nassau Cruise Port.

Malik Boyd, 39, of Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure, disorderly behaviour and resisting arrest before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

Prosecutors said Boyd exposed himself to a woman at the Royal Beach Club on June 20.

Later that day, he reportedly continued acting disorderly at the Nassau Cruise Port and resisted arrest by Police Constable 4637 Cartwright.

Boyd apologised repeatedly in court and said he was heavily intoxicated at the time.

Magistrate Evans warned and discharged him, urging him to exercise greater self-control in the future.

Inspector Deon Barr prosecuted the case.
