THE Bahamas World Boxing Federation announced that members of the national team departed Nassau this week for a five-week training camp in Mexico and the Dominican Republic in preparation for the upcoming CAC Games.
The delegation includes boxers Ania Powell – 65kg and Grand Bahamian Keanu Greene – 85kg; Roy Colebrook – secretary general, BWBF; coach Vicente Martinez and Wellington Miller – president of the BWBF. The training camp will provide the athletes with world-class coaching, international sparring, and valuable competition experience as they prepare to represent The Bahamas at the CAC Games.Coach Jermaine Gibson will join the team during the second half of the training camp to assist with the athletes' final preparations and to coach them during their scheduled fights.

Their investment in our athletes is helping to strengthen boxing in The Bahamas and prepare our team for success on the international stage.
