A MAN was placed on probation on Friday after he admitted stealing $3,000 from another man’s bank account.
Eric Higgs Jr, 31, stole $3,000 from Gregory Chisholm’s Commonwealth Bank account on October 2, 2025.
Higgs pleaded guilty to stealing before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr. The money laundering charge against him was withdrawn.
Higgs was granted a conditional discharge. He was placed on six months’ probation and ordered to reimburse the complainant.
Failure to comply with these conditions would result in a six-month prison term.
Sergeant 3004 Forbes prosecuted the case.
