A GRAND Bahama man is in hospital in critical condition after being shot while helping a friend on Tuesday night.
Police said they were alerted to the shooting on Frobisher Drive shortly after 10pm.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was assisting a friend when a dark-coloured vehicle pulled up. A man dressed in dark clothing exited and opened fire, shooting the victim several times before fleeing the scene.
Detectives later spoke with the victim in hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
