Moxey allegedly uttered a forged cheque at CIBC from Graham Real Estate made payable to Master Mind Construction and General Maintenance to fraudulently obtain $70,250 on May 27 in New Providence.
The defendant was charged with three counts each of possession of a forged document, uttering a forged document, fraud by false pretenses and money laundering (acquisition).
Moxey pleaded not guilty to all charges before Senior Magistrate Raquel Whyms.
Although Inspector 2257 Wilkinson, the prosecutor, objected to the accused's bail, it was granted to him at $20,000 with one or two sureties.
Moxey must surrender his travel documents and be fitted with a monitoring device. He must also sign in at the Southern Police Station every Monday and Tuesday by 6pm and was warned not to interfere with any witnesses in this matter.
Failure to comply with any of these conditions would result in Moxey's bail being revoked. Moxey returns for trial on February 24, 2027.
