A MAN accused of assaulting and injuring his pregnant wife, a popular radio personality, was granted bail yesterday.
Prosecutors allege Andre Kelly, 35, injured Sherrelle Duncombe, known as "Roxie Star", and threatened to kill her on September 5 in New Providence. He is also accused of assaulting Ms Duncombe with an iron cord during the same incident.
Kelly pleaded not guilty to assault with a dangerous instrument, threats of death and causing harm before Assistant Chief Magistrate Kara Turnquest Deveaux.
He was granted bail at $5,000 with one or two sureties. He was warned not to contact or interfere with Ms Duncombe or any witnesses, and was told his bail would be revoked if he did.
His trial is set for January 25, 2027.
