A 30-YEAR-OLD man has been accused of trying to shoot and kill two men in New Providence last week.
Prosecutors allege Alando Williams attempted to shoot and kill Bernard Munroe and Kenrio Captain with a handgun on September 23.
Williams appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans. He was charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and was not required to enter a plea.
He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until December 10. On that date, he is due to be served with a voluntary bill of indictment, which will send his case to the Supreme Court. He was told he has the right to apply for bail in the higher court.
Inspector Deon Barr prosecuted the case. Mark Penn represented Williams.
