A MAN is accused of stealing $42,830.80 from four people over six months.

Prosecutors allege Robinson Piervilus, 26, stole the money from four individuals to which he had access by reason of service between March 14 and August 13.

Piervilus pleaded not guilty to four counts of stealing by reason of service and money laundering before Senior Magistrate Anishka Isaacs.

The defendant's bail was set at $9,900 with one or two sureties. Under the terms of his bail, he must sign in at the Carmichael Road Police Station every Monday and Thursday by 6pm.

The accused is scheduled to return for trial on March 30.

Sergeant 2257 Wilkinson prosecuted the case, while Ian Jupp represented the accused.
