A MAN who admitted injuring his two-month-old daughter and the child's mother during a domestic dispute in Fox Hill was remanded to prison pending sentencing.

The 27-year-old man, whose name is being withheld to protect the child's identity, reportedly injured the infant and her mother during an altercation on Brice Street on October 12.

He also reportedly threatened to kill the woman during the incident.

The accused pleaded guilty to causing harm, cruelty to children and threats of death before Deputy Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville.

Magistrate Serville reprimanded the man for his violent behaviour, which endangered the infant's life, but said he needed time to consider an appropriate sentence.

The accused was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until his sentencing on Friday.

Inspector Cordero Farrington prosecuted the case.
