A Bahamian-owned and woman-led online travel agency has launched to give locals and others improved access to trip planning and hospitality experiences.

Best Stay Travels, in a statement, said its platform showcases verified listings, concierge-level trip planning and tailored itineraries that highlight each destination.

It added that its platform, designed and developed in The Bahamas, blends modern travel technology with a community-centred approach, ensuring that host destinations benefit economically and culturally from each visitor.

“Although Best Stay Travels serves a global audience, its roots are firmly Bahamian”, said Denise Johnson, chief executive and president of Hospitality Group, and owner of the platform.

“We’re investing deeply in our home market, partnering with local stakeholders to share authentic Bahamian stories with the world while delivering a world class booking experience built on trust and genuine hospitality. This launch is not only a milestone for our company but a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit shaping The Bahamas’ future,” she added.

Best Stay Travels said it functions as a destination-driven receptive tour operator (RTO), bridging gaps across the Bahamian islands by securing exclusive access to local products and stays that legacy commercial platforms overlook.

It added that its platform collaborates directly with global travel agencies, trade partners and distributors through cross-marketing and inventory sharing, expanding access to authentic Bahamian experiences worldwide.
