A MAN accused of indecently assaulting a 16-year-old boy denied the charge in Magistrate’s Court, but admitted stealing $1,750 in a separate case.

Kevin Pennerman, of Farrington Road, is alleged to have indecently assaulted the teenager in New Providence between August 17 and 18, 2026.

He pleaded not guilty before Senior Magistrate Kendra Kelly and was granted $9,500 bail with one or two sureties. Under his bail conditions, he must wear an electronic monitoring device and sign in at the Nassau Street Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday before 6pm.

His trial is set for December 9, 2026.

In the separate matter, Pennerman pleaded guilty to stealing $1,750 from Diline Joseph by reason of service, a charge that applies to theft by an employee, on August 24, 2026.

He was ordered to repay Ms Joseph the full $1,750 and fined $5,000 or one year in prison.

Inspector Vernon Pyfrom prosecuted.
