Tomorrow.io launches polar orbit satellites to improve weather monitoring across The Bahamas

Tomorrow.io, a strategic partner of the Bahamas Aviation, Climate and Severe Weather Network (BACSWN), has launched more revolutionary low earth orbit weather satellites into polar orbit.

Launched on a SpaceX Bandwagon-5 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, the satellites reduce refresh rates over The Bahamas from the current three hours to under an hour - dramatically enhancing the safety and timeless of real time situational awareness over the 173,000 sq miles of the nation.

On its website, Tomorrow.io says that it’s weather and climate security platform empowers businesses, governments, and countries to better predict and prepare for the operational impact of weather before it happens.
