TWO Bahamian men, aged 64 and 70, were each granted $7,000 bail after pleading not guilty to separate charges of indecently assaulting teenage girls.
Nemiah Bowleg, 64, of Beatrice Avenue, was accused of indecently assaulting a 17-year-old girl on June 19, 2026, in New Providence.
Prosecutor Audrey Deveaux did not object to bail, and Bowleg was granted bail with one or two sureties and ordered to sign in at the Elizabeth Police Station every Thursday before 7pm.
His matter was adjourned to March 24, 2027.
In a separate matter, Patrick Tucker, 70, of Farrington Road, was accused of indecently assaulting a 15-year-old girl on October 24, 2026.
He was granted bail with one or two sureties and ordered to sign in at the Nassau Street Police Station every Friday before 7pm.
His trial is set for March 18, 2027.
Magistrate Abigail Farrington presided over both matters.
