A TEENAGER was accused of a string of robbery-related offences, including an attempted robbery at a service station and robberies at a motel.

Prosecutors allege Tarino Moss, 19, while armed with a handgun and accompanied by others, attempted to rob Lashante Forbes of an undetermined amount of cash while she was working at a Rubis Service Station on August 31.

Moss, while armed with a handgun and accompanied by another person, allegedly forced his way into the Glowell Motel on St Alban Drive around 11pm on September 2 and robbed Crystal Williams of $1,882 belonging to the establishment.

That same night, Moss allegedly robbed motel guest Yolette Armbrister of a brown wallet containing $1,040 and her lavender Samsung A07 phone.

The suspects allegedly fled on foot and escaped by climbing over a fence on the eastern side of the property.

Moss was charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.

He was not required to enter pleas to the charges before Acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

He was informed that the case would proceed to the Supreme Court through a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI) and advised of his right to apply for bail in the higher court.

Moss was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until service of the VBI on December 10.
