ATLANTIS recognised employees from across its more than 6,000-member workforce yesterday during the resort’s 27th Amethyst Awards.

More than 100 employees are nominated each quarter for recognition through the awards programme, which honours workers across the resort’s operations.

Atlantis President and Managing Director Audrey Oswell said the nominees reflected the breadth of the organisation, from relatively new hires to employees who have worked at the resort for more than 20 years.

Ms Oswell said Atlantis employees work across hotel operations, the marine water park, food and beverage, casino, engineering, golf, the water plant, security, landscaping, laundry, warehouse, human resources, legal, finance, IT, marketing, entertainment and guest activities.

“Today we’re going to recognise a handful of you,” she said, “but every one of you whose name is mentioned today, and all of those that are here cheering them on, stands on a team, and every one of those teams stands on all of you.”
