A MAN was accused of unlawfully entering a woman’s home in John Claridge Estates and stealing $7,702.85 worth of property earlier this month.
Prosecutors allege Vaughn Seymour, 20, and accomplices unlawfully entered the residence sometime between 5pm on September 10 and 7am on September 11 and stole an assortment of kitchen and household appliances.
Seymour pleaded not guilty to unlawful entry and stealing before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.
His bail was set at $7,000 with one or two sureties.
Under the terms of his bail, Seymour must sign in at the Carmichael Road Police Station every Monday and Friday before 7pm. He must also obey a 7pm to 6am curfew and be fitted with a monitoring device.
Seymour returns for trial on January 21.
Reserve Inspector Deveaux prosecuted the case.
