A MAN was accused of stabbing a 15-year-old girl in the arm on Peter Street last week.
Yashai Swann, 18, pleaded not guilty to causing harm before Magistrate Abigail Farrington after electing to have the case heard in the Magistrate’s Court.
Prosecutors allege Swann injured the girl at about 11.20pm on September 19.
Swann was granted $3,500 bail with one or two sureties. He must sign in at the Grove Police Station by 7pm on the last Sunday of every month.
He was also warned not to contact witnesses or risk having his bail revoked.
His trial is set for February 2.
Reserve Inspector Deveaux prosecuted the case.
