A WOMAN has denied defrauding another person of $660 earlier this month.
Pedranique Newbold, 21, pleaded not guilty to two counts of fraud by false pretences before Senior Magistrate Kendra Kelly Burrows yesterday.
Prosecutors allege Newbold obtained $660 from Malronique Paul by false pretences on September 11.
Newbold was granted $2,000 bail with one or two sureties. She was warned not to interfere with witnesses or risk having her bail revoked.
Her trial is set for December 10.
Corporal Moultrie prosecuted the case.
