A 33-YEAR-OLD man was granted $7,000 bail after denying that he indecently assaulted a 19-year-old woman in Eleuthera last week.
Prosecutors allege Mackenson Saint-Hilair inappropriately groped the woman in Eleuthera on September 20.
Saint-Hilair pleaded not guilty to indecent assault before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.
He was granted bail with one or two sureties and must sign in at the Spanish Wells Police Station every Friday by 7pm.
Saint-Hilair was ordered not to interfere with witnesses and to remain at least 100 feet from the complainant. He was warned that failure to comply with the conditions could result in his bail being revoked.
His trial date is expected to be fixed in Eleuthera on September 29.
Levan Johnson represented Saint-Hilair, while Assistant Superintendent of Police Kendrick Bauld prosecuted the case.
