Bahamian arrested after 51kg cocaine seized

POLICE arrested a Bahamian man at the Lynden Pindling International Airport on Sunday in connection with the seizure of 51 kilos of cocaine. According to police, shortly after 8am, K-9 officers on duty at the LPIA Jet Aviation Centre assisted by officers from the Airport Division conducted a search of a chartered aircraft that had just landed. Officers found two large bags containing 51 kilos of cocaine.
