PRIME Minister Philip “Brave” Davis last night conceded he could not promise Bahamians an immediate end to the power cuts that have battered New Providence and parts of the Family Islands this summer, but pledged that generation capacity will return over the coming months as his administration replaces failed equipment and pushes ahead with a sweeping overhaul of the electricity system.
