Davis avoids questions over Election Day plane crash
PRIME Minister Philip “Brave” Davis yesterday again avoided reporters’ questions about “Politician-1” in a US Drug Enforcement Administration affidavit and his administration’s links to an election-day plane crash involving convicted drug smuggler Jonathan Eric Gardiner.
Crashed plane not licenced to fly, say investigators
The plane carrying 11 Bahamians which was forced to ditch into the sea on election day when both engines failed should not have been flying, according to the crash investigating authority.

THE Air Accident Investigation Authority said it will not be launching an investigation into a plane carrying passengers that crashed in waters off Florida’s coast Tuesday since the incident happened outside Bahamian jurisdiction.
