One less to go to court...you crazy to engage the police, the better armed, better trained and there are more of them...He knew he had a weapon and they may have found it, it was jail no matter how you slice it.

The real culprit is Christianity. I mean, are we truly a Christian nation with roads built and maintained by Christian road paving sub contractors who are paid by a Christian government? It all depends on faith. If the utility companies had Christian employees they would self report digging up the roads to the Christian road traffic department. The two Christians could come up with a Christian solution to the potholes and co-ordinate timely repairs. But they aren’t putting their faith first, are they? No honesty on the government end either. Tell us, dear Christian leaders, how much of our Christian taxes are used on unnecessary unchristian road repairs?

Fool and their money, tale as old as time. Lawyers here will be very happy to rob him to entertain his dreams.

Knowing the names involved in this transaction, I'm not surprised that it ended up this way. A bunch of time wasted that could have easily been saved had Kovats been shown the door the minute he refused to put down a performance bond.

LastManStanding I don't think Dr. Kovats is aware that the 384-acre South Ocean property has been sold under the Minnis administration to Albany about 2 years ago.

It is unethical when a lawyer knowingly accepts worthless lawsuits. But we have far too many shady lawyers around, they know they are not giving good advice and they know they are representing someone who is purposely wasting court time & doesn't stand a chance of winning in court. But, they are happy to take money off a client because the case will drag on. Best thing a judge can do is throw it out with the caveat that this case is not brought back.

Note - Treasure Cay is an “existing” Development from the 60’s …. destroyed by “Dorian” in desperate need of being rebuilt, as it was the largest employer in North Abaco … so as much as you may not wish for it to be rebuilt, neither Abaconians, nor Bahamians generally, share your view.
