Somebody in the HOA reads an ethics book and publicly tells their colleagues about all the revelations they found

For there to be a general sense of belonging and unity among the citizens of The Bahamas. Howbeit, this may call for a political and social revolution.

Secondly, for there to be a general but truthful understanding, and declaration, as to whether or not we are indeed a "nation". What regional, global or domestic definition truly defines our collective identity?

Whatever the nearest and most precise definition of collective identity that is, be truthful to the people of The Bahamas about what that is.

Enforcement of the laws already on the books. The country would be much better just by doing that.

@birdie, @Tal, @John, and many others like them, are hoping the official flags of Haiti and Jamaica will be hoisted on the same flag pole above the Bahamian flag during the Independence Day Flag Raising Ceremony.

I don't have any hopes for this nation, I live in reality. Wishful thinking will leave you disappointed every single time.

I hope that all of the corrupt politicians and government officials are struck down by our one true God. Take them please and have no mercy on their souls.

From my perspective, Independence has brought decline. Currently, I don't see how it is going to improve.
