Making the decision between party leaders
THOSE who follow and support political groups have an agenda. The distinguishing factors that set them apart are pinpointed by what they allow, what they support, and how blind they are to their leaders inconsistencies and indiscretions. The way in which these differences are perceived by the Bahamian people on May 7, 2012, will not only determine who will lead for the next five years, but how serious the electorate has become about politics at many levels.

22,000 jobs - really?
JUST a few observations that I have recently made of the political scene in the Bahamas: The PLP is saying to anyone willing to listen that their administration created 22,000 jobs between 2002 and 2007.

AS MAY 7th approaches, all registered voters and people who we think are registered will be faced with a common problem.
Where the PM goes, the PLP follows
We are quickly approaching May 7th. It is amazing to me that the PLP continue to follow the Prime Minister wherever he goes to have a rally.

As we listen to politicians
It is truly amazing that politicians are so able to divide us along the lines of their views. We look at the same item and depending on our political leanings we develop totally opposing views.
Who tief a bit of Nassau?
ASK any Bahamian: "What is the size of New Providence?" Invariably you will be told "21 by 7". Wrong answer! The length of our "Island Paradise" is just over 18.5 statute miles (16 and a bit nautical miles)! Don't believe me; check it out on Google Earth or a chart plotter!
Vandalism a sign of PLP beliefs
THE defacement and destruction of FNM posters and signs could be noticed throughout the island of New Providence. On my way out of my community of Mt Pleasant Village today, I have noticed that the sign and posters of the FNM leader, and candidate have been knocked totally out of the ground and smashed.
