If I ever go to church, I sit in the very back, in case there is a god. If there is, he would smite the preachers, priests, bishops, apostles, robe-wearers, and psalm-singing donkeys, and I wouldn't want to be collateral damage from the smiting, lightening and fire and brimstone etc etc.

Pastor Moss, for the record, this is my true name. Further, you are free to do as you wish. Your beliefs are just that, your beliefs. I do apologize for calling you and the others closeted sissies, but when I used the term, I am merely referring your blatant homophobic stance. The record will show that most outspoken ministers who lobbied against homosexuals, were themselves practicing this "act" behind closed doors. And the preaching against it were simply just a way to deflect from themselves. But again, I do apologize for making that statement and I am not saying that you fit in this category.

But let me say this, when you claim to be a man or God and a watch dog of the moralities of society, people begin to see your hypocrisy when your public outcries are lopsided to one so called sin,homosexuality. Why is it that we never hear from your crew when real tragedies are taking place in our society??? Where was your voice during the last few months when our citizens were slaughtering each other almost on a daily basis??? Did you know that Child Abuse is up by 22% In The Bahamas from Last Year??? Isn't that a more pressing matter to be writing to the government about???

By no means am I saying that you do not have the right to protest against whatever issues you wish. What I am saying is that you are the one who claim to be a pastor. The difference is it is YOUR JOB to speak out against ALL immoralities. But this group of pastors seem to be obsessed with just the act "gayism", which in the public eyes make all of you seem to be insecure about your own masculinity, just saying. But whatever, I must tell you to your face that the Bahamas Christian Council is not an effective organization, because it misses so many opportunities to reach out to the many lost souls that wander our streets at night. How many of these lofty churches are being used for community outreach programs for troubled youth or battered wives, drug addicts and the list goes on??? When this group of men who call themselves the BBC begin standing up for ALL citizens of the Bahamas then they will get the support of the wider community, believers and non believers. -:)

Net Billing is NOT ACCEPTABLE as it does not allow for financing and owner return on investment, two critical components to getting Alternate energy off the ground here. Net billing allows the Power Company to erode owner return on investment at will, via URCA manipulation, and marginalize any financing potential. Note that U.S. Utilities are Net Metered but have been pushing for this same short stick deal, with little success thankfully. If URCA and Government accept this lopsided "deal" it confirms they don't really want it in the Bahamas.

Of course he's disappointed! Smith and his kind are used to having a bulky cabinet, aka band of thieves, that have the commonality of robbing the Bahamas of all of its resources and by all means necessary. This tired, decrepit used to be politician still has the savor in his mouth that was left when he was in position to be involved with all types of crooked deals and criminal acts. Sorry Georgie boy! The world has changed while you were enjoying the fat of the land in your ivory tower. This is the age of information and technology. That means that your past has come to haunt you and you are no more relevant or needed as a public servant of the Bahamas. Please go with God!

the tribune reporter has to fill pages, when dionisio is not available, he calls frank watson or tennyson wells or leslie miller, then he calls rodney moncur as a last resort.

The choices are sad in some respects but politically astute.The Bahamas is a sad place. I think Bran's views on marital rape and Rodney's are both deplorable. Rodney is bat-shit crazy. But they represent a large portion of our mix up, self-hating electorate. LBT is speaking to various kinds of voters symbolically with these choices. The senate don't have an ounce of power- but it will certainly get coverage in the next few months. At least the choices aren't the same inept rumored lovers or sycophants- a la ms. rolle.
