Vaccine facilities to be sited on campus

PRIME Minister Phillip “Brave” Davis says plans are underway to set up vaccination sites at school campuses in an effort to get more children inoculated against COVID-19.

Mr Davis gave the comments to reporters after touring several government schools under renovation in the capital yesterday.

He was asked whether his administration planned to lift the mask mandate for children in schools for the new semester.

Currently, children aged five and older are eligible to receive doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the country.

Last month, France donated 24,000 paediatric doses of the Pfizer vaccine to The Bahamas through the COVAX facility.

Mr Davis said: “As far as the children is concerned, there are vaccines for children and we have been vaccinating children and as soon as we see the demographics of how many children are vaccinated, we too can consider lifting the masks and I urge again parents to seek to have children vaccinated so that we can move to lifting the masks.

“As you quite pointed out, these are suffocating times because of the heat, and we want to see how we could help to ensure that our children are comfortable in this environment. So, I ask you and I urge you, tell your friends and tell your neighbours and tell anyone who you come into contact with – do get vaccinated to help each one of us to live more comfortably.”

As it relates to the general mask mandate, Mr Davis said he plans to eliminate the public health measure once a certain percentage of the population is vaccinated.

He said he will also consult with health officials.

“The reason I have been urging persons to get vaccinated who have not been vaccinated is because we don’t want an avalanche of sick people that will burst our hospital at the seams again,” Mr Davis added.

“And in keeping with that, the lifting of the mask will happen once I’m satisfied from the experts and the advice from the medical team that has been assembled and working all through the pandemic when they say to me that the level of the percentage of Bahamians vaccinated is such that we can lift the masks and that’s what I’ve been urging persons to see to get themselves vaccinated and then we will look at lifting the masks.”

According to the government’s latest vaccine tracker, more than 170,000 people have been fully vaccinated in The Bahamas to date, while more than 159,000 people have received their first dose.

Earlier this month, Health and Wellness Minister Dr Michael Darville told reporters the government is hoping to achieve a 70 percent vaccination rate among the public by year’s end.

“One of the things that we’re committed to is the World Health Organisation’s mandate for 70 percent of the population to be vaccinated by the end of the year,” he said at the time.

“It’s out there. Many other Caribbean countries are trying to meet that particular target. The reason why that’s important is because we believe that if we get at that level, it will prevent a large influx of individuals to our hospital systems in the event that we start to see higher instances of COVID in country.”

There have been 36,853 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the country as of August 8. Of that count, 296 cases are still active.

What science and data is being used to support child vaccination? The only reasoning mentioned is the number of shots the Bahamas can prove it jabbed its citizenry with. What does the latest world data warn of child vaccination threat verses the threat of covid on a child. The power of The Competant Authority to forcfully enforce these rules is unconstitutional by The Geneva Convention on Human Rights, UN Treaties on The Right To Child Education, Nuremberg Treaties on the non experimental use of live humans to test medication, forceful use of potentially harmful medications without giving the health pros and cons. Only changes to The Bahamas Constitution can enforce this as The Comp Authority cannot. Even in the USA vaccinations are only made legal and the maker cannot be used because of Presidential Emergency Use Authorization. The emergency is over. Life has returned to normal. The Delta vaccine spike protein generator mRNA is powerless against all existing and new strains.

Only the world minority G7 nations are using the fail mRNA junk. The majority of the world's population have opted for Sputnik V. Those nations that use it never got sick from the omicron variants. If PAHO was sincerely interested in health it would include Sputnik V to the Caribbean.

Brave is just full of bullshit. Parents do not I repeat DO NOT let them vaccinate your children. He is talking fuckery about lifting the mask mandate when the population reach a certain percentage of being vaccinated. Pray tell what is the acceptable percentage. These masks are killing us slowing. I thought the new day gov was different but t5hey are proving to be worse

If I knew then what I know now I would have not allowed my children to be inoculated with any of the past required vaccines, even worst definitely not this one, they are all totally unnecessary. We adults are the guardians on this planet to the children, the earth and most of all that which is allowed to govern us in the world as we know it, and we failed in all regards due to our obsessive emotional practices over knowledge.

Aside from the stupid lockdowns and asinine mask mandates (what most people ignore anyways), the Bahamas has been relatively sound minded on the COVID hoax. Compared to Kookada where you could not fly, work for the federal (and many provincial) governments, go to a restaurant or gym, study in university (even online courses), and more unless you took the clotshot, or, even better, have your bank account frozen for protesting against the stupid mandates well after the clotshot was proven to be ineffective, I would say that the Bahamas was a bastion of freedom. As usual though, we are behind the curve on lifting the mask mandate.

It was blatant curiosity that months ago adds in the daily news papers asked for qualified personnel to carry out covid vaccine related work. Back then I questioned here, what do they know about a return to health threats. Seems they planned months ago, to re-engage the Bahamian public with nightmare covid vaccine handcuffs, this time against our children and grandchildren who are now on the firing block. There are no independent nurses and doctors. All over the world g7 agenda and money is creating climate hysteria, vaccine globalist agenda, transsexuals rights anti God, pro anti male/female sexual spectrum of choices of species. The infrastructure to vaccinate for a virus that mutates every four months is criminal and insane by power pornography PAHO and WHO backed by Globalists with money to buy governments and pay institutions into silence. Now us parents are facing a neither wave of medical terrorism that is driving depression, hopelessness at educational gunpoint. We are being terrorized all over again with madness like beach closures at gunpoint to stop covid, armed road blocks, lockdowns for months in-home jails, no mask lockup, sidewalk excursions lock up and now armed doctors, nurses and Police at primary and secondary schools pushing child vaccinations. Plain terror, educational blackmail, mark of the beast and stress with the rest of anti covid failures to stop viruses. The virus is still here and the six times vaccinated still gets covid.
