FOUR charged with Kurt McCartney's murder

Three men and two women were brought to court in connection with Kurt McCartney's death.

Two men and two women have been charged with the murder of Kurt McCartney.

Thorne Edwards, 23 and Okell Farrington, 31 of Pinewood Gardens; Lyndera Curry, 20, and Sumya Ingraham, 26, of Plantol Street, appeared before magistrates today and were charged with murder.

It was claimed that the four accused intentionally and unlawfully together caused the death of Richard Kurt McCartney on October 24.

Terry Delancy, 42, the owner of Virgo Car Rental, was charged with accessory after the fact. He pleaded not guilty.

Businessman McCartney was shot to death in Gambier Village on October 24.

It had to be so because no way 8 suspects questioned and no one charged. Thank God. Now why they killed him is another set of drama.

accessory after the fact....means he did something after Mr. McCartney was killed to help bringing these goons to justice.

Hope the case is water tight and will start as early as January 2014. Let 'em know murder and plotting on someone's life in this county is no game Too bad they don't hang 'em high any more in the public square. Keep them in jail without no bail.

Are you serious? Do you know how many murderers go unpunished in this country, there was an article just on Monday on an IDB report, what was it, 1 in 20 end with a conviction? (Yes there it is in the side panel) This may end in a conviction but it will only do so because of who he's related to, that's the sad fact.

John....Accessory to the crime is someone who aided the criminals after the fact. Such as hiding them, protecting, covering up, etc.

If they're given bail and they can post it they should be. If they're deemed flight risks and denied bail then they shouldn't.
