HUNDREDS of Bahamians came out to the Pearl Island Bahamas job fair at Club Luna on West Bay Street yesterday looking for an opportunity to work at the new private resort complex expected to open soon off New Providence.
Queues formed earely for the fair, which continues today and offers employment for a range of positions, from servers and bartenders, food and beverage managers, cooks, beach and pool attendants, weddings and events co-ordinators and tour guides.
Pearl Island is a private getaway island 20 minutes by boat from Nassau and north of Athol Island and is scheduled to open this Spring.
