Freedom fighters
THREE journalists who have stood for the freedom of the press in spite of the infringement of their rights, imprisonment and abduction while carrying out their work were honoured on Monday night at the International Press Institute (IPI) gala fund-raising dinner and awards ceremony. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, and was attended by media practitioners from all around the world.
