SUPER Value owner Rupert Roberts said on Thursday afternoon the area around his Golden Gates head office “looks like a war zone” after Hurricane Matthew’s passage, which damaged both his house and his business.

Many people did not heed the advice and abandon their homes on the southern coast. Many were calling for help and rescue even as the surge was up to two story floors. Roof blew off a church in Andros being used as a hurricane shelter even before the storm arrived. It was a terrible experience. And now we wait for power to be restored
