They will jam it down our throats just like VAT. I use to think the information void with VAT was bad...it's even worse when discussing this NHI concept. Scary thing is, VAT impacted our money...NHI is going to impact our health and possibly our lives. Right now I'm not convinced NHI improves on that in a good way, not as disorganized as it is now.

I took an informal poll today and asked if people understood NHI or understood what it would be. NOT ONE PERSON UNDERSTOOD NHI AND NOBODY KNOWS WHAT IT IS! We have no idea WHAT we are going to get nor do we know ANYTHING about the scheme. How can a government admit they have NO IDEA what something will cost the people? What asshole would agree to support something they have no idea about? This is going to be a slush fund for the political elite, the Haitians will get more health care than Bahamians (as they do today), and poor Bahamians who have no money will be saddled with even more tax that will be wasted, mismanaged, and stolen. The PLP, The Bahamian Mafia, getting it done for them and theirs, one day it will bite them in the ass, hopefully sooner than later!

The PLP is the enemy of hard working Bahamians.

There is no law that makes NHI exist, so why ask this question?
