Should I be encouraged by the fact that our Prime Minister has handed over sovereignty of The Bahamas to China? Perhaps China will do a better job of running the country than Bahamian politicians have done over the last 43 years? We just can't expect a sympathetic ear from our previous "best friend", the USA, if it all goes pear shaped.
