Mother and daughter die in shooting

As of Wednesday, November 6, 2013

A triple shooting this morning has left a woman and her daughter dead.

The incident took place at Woods Alley off Market Street. The 34-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter died at the scene.

A 34-year-old man, believed to be the woman's boyfriend, was taken to hospital with a gun shot to the leg.

he knew they were after him but did not have the decency to try and protect the person who loved him. She along with her innocent daughter took his bullets, but he too will be joining them soon.

Really a sad day ... I believe that murders which are commited via a home invasion should be classified as capital murders and punishable by the noose. Your home should be your sanctuary and if that is invaded then whoever has the balls to do that should be hanged by the neck until he is dead.

If the person responsible is found they will be out on bail in three months threaten the witnesses and then win their case and of course some selfish lawyer is going to pocket huge sums of blood money.

Not sure why he would put a hit on a 14yr old girl. I'm thinking he was used to looking over his shoulder while the women were not. He ran. In the best of worlds he would have tried to defend them, but no one really knows what they would do when facing a loaded gun. You would expect a parent to protect a child but all other bets are probably off.

If it turns out to be something other than plain fear&flight, I wouldn't know what to say....other than I'll start walking Village Road with my own sign about the end of days.
