Ready to make a splash

Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis toured the construction site of Baha Mar’s water park yesterday.

The $250m water park is part of Baha Mar’s Phase II development.

Work started in November 2019 but was temporarily suspended in March 2020 due to COVID-19 before restarting.

The tour was led by Baha Mar president Graeme Davis. Between 350 and 400 Bahamians have been employed daily since the restart.

It is expected about 400 new jobs will be created following the opening of the water park - due to be in July next year.

Strikes me that COVUD-19, is not goin' lower capacity for pusin' series excessive projects - forever dependent on attracting mega lunch bucket carnival rides tourism.
Shakehead a quick once for upyeahvote, you really can't just make up such carnival's last century themes nonsense. Just, can't, a slow twice for not?

Typical bahamian politician. He railed against the Bahamar project while in opposition. Now he turns and supports it and basks in it's achievements. .Like someone said to me, the PLP did the same thing with Atlantis. They threaten the investment while in opposition. When they returned to power, they supported the project and give them more concessions for further investments.

Like some one said to me.there are persons outside the Bahamas ,who is just laugh at Bahamians and their politicians.

I think that if you add up all these jobs that every project is touting we will need to import I don't know how many foreigners, and every Bahamian will be a millionaire (or just some a billionaire?).
