“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and all creatures on this earth, including man and woman and God saw that everything that He had created was very good, “ so says the Bible, the book by which many Christians live and on which we all swear when we take a solemn oath to tell the truth.
Earlier this month a letter writer to The Tribune expressed his horror – “flabbergasted” in fact was the word he used – on reading that our government had given the American Embassy permission to fly the LGBTQ flag on its property.
In fact, I do not think that the Americans would need permission from our government, as the land on which their Embassy stands is American.
And by flying this flag once a year their country was expressing the belief that every man, woman, and child — straight or gay — on this planet has equal rights and opportunities.
However, if as the letter writer says, be believes that all God’s creations are good – because God Himself said they were good, then, do, pray tell, who created the homosexual (LGBTQ - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer)?
I am sure that a good God, in whom the letter writer admits he believes, could not possibly condone anyone, including the letter writer, dismissing anyone of His creations and removing him/her from even being a member of the human race.
My friend, you cannot have it both ways. If you believe in God, and you believe what God said that all his Creation is good, then where did the LGBTQ come from if he was not created by God, and in God’s eyes is equally as good as the person who wrote the letter to The Tribune?
God created the homosexual and put him (her) on this Earth, not to be shunned and ridiculed by those who were born “straight”. These people were created by God, and are different, not by their own choice, but by God’s decree - and so who is the letter writer to say that on one day a year a flag should not be flown to demonstrate that we are all God’s creatures — although some of us were born different, we are all of equal value in God’s eyes.
In my opinion all God’s creation was for a purpose — and that was not for one group to be ridiculed by those who consider themselves “straight” – because in God’s creation they are all of equal value.
So, when this letter writer goes to his church, he should ponder on God’s creation, which God Himself said was good – not part of it, but all of it.
No, I am not a homosexual — as straight as they come — but I acknowledge that all of God’s creation is for a purpose and it is not for me to judge the worth of any part of it – especially when it comes to the human race.

Listen... the Bible was written thousands of years ago. My two teenagers at this very moment have more education and knowledge than the folks that wrote the Bible. In the vast amount of time that has passed since the Bible was written, some of us have actually evolved and matured and gained incredible amounts of knowledge. Yes, some of the things in the Bible are still relevant today and make perfect sense. Yet, many of the things in the Bible are simply unrealistic, based on fear or sheer stupidity.

... the argument in this article is fundamentally flawed. Yes God did create all thing and yes He did pronounce them good BEFORE sin entered the equation. Before sin there were no laws given to govern human behavior. AFTER the fall laws were given so that men could know the standard they were expect to attain to.God give men choice- the right to choose his way or not to. God did not create the pedophile, homosexual or transgender as all of those are the result of a acting on a thought feeling or desire and thereby manifesting free will. God also did not create the adulterer. That too is an express manifestation of choice.
If all of Gods creation serves a purpose what then is the purpose of the rapist or murderer?

So is referring to the USA as America. It's insulting to other countries that are part of Central or South America. Wearing shoes indoors is viewed as disgusting in many cultures, so is putting your feet up and showing someone the soles of your feet. All these habits are acceptable to us, but not others. Homosexuality is acceptable now in many cultures. Most of those not accepting of homosexuality, are either countries where religion has a stranglehold on the population or countries ruled by dictators.

Being gay isn't a choice. It's no different than being born with red hair vs blonde hair. You are simply born that way and have NO control over it.
If I was born with red hair and at some point wished I was a blonde... there is NO way for my head to change and start generating blonde hair. It simply isn't biologically possible. The same with being gay. It I wake up one day as a gay man and then all of the sudden decide today is the day I'm going to lust after women -- it won't happen. It's not biologically possible.

Being gay and having "relations" between two male adults or female adults is based on "mutual consent." Comparing that to a pedophile is not an apples to apples comparison. As you know, there isn't and can't be "mutual consent" between an adult and a child. And that is the primary issue with a pedophile. So no, I will NEVER support, nor should any rational adult, pedophiles. But, I will 100% support two male adults that truly love each other, respect each other, and have a relationship built on mutual consent.

Comparing homosexuals and pedophiles is fair because the same powerful people pushing for Gay Rights and spreading their agenda are also pro-pedophilia and spending lots of their time trying to lower the age of consent and sexualize children. They're the same political animal and will use similar arguments to push pedophilia into the mainstream. In 20 years you will be called a bigot and hate-filled for saying the things you are saying now about pedophiles, guaranteed. If you could go back 25 years ago and tell someone that they'd be called a bigot for saying a Man has a penis and a Woman has a vagina they wouldn't believe it either.
Not currently, but they're already working on that by lowering the age of consent bit by bit. Most recently the World Economic Forum was pushing for the age of consent to be 13 years old.
Indeed, I don't care about what homosexuals do with each other behind closed doors, it's not like I advocate violence against them, but when they push their abnormality into the mainstream then we have a problem. Children today are bombarded with homosexuality, even in the cartoons they watch where they are being indoctrinated. Sit down and watch what your children are watching, you may be shocked.

Oh, and I would love to know where you got the info about the World Economic Forum wanting to lower the age of consent to 13. Are you sure about that ? Maybe you are confusing it with the fact that over 70% of countries allow children to marry at 13, and therefore by default can have sexual relations after marrying. Not saying I agree with it, in fact I don't, but I would like to know your source.
