As a young individual living on the island of Exuma I've come to realize that we're face with many challenges and my whole objective is to try and get some answers on why is it that the small man is always the last to be involve in anything going on throughout the length and breathe of this Bahama land.

(1) Why is it Nassau & Abaco had all sorts of repairs done to the roads but Exuma roads are in bad condition and needs some repairs also?

(2) There is still no fire truck in working condition in Exuma its been way too long now something has to be done.

(3) The situation at the airport with the air conditions are a total mess and i feel as if the airport here needs to be upgraded we have international flights that come here shouldn't our station be up to the time as anywhere else.

(4) The Government Dock is strictly off limits because of the repairs being done this should have been done a long time ago why is it we can get a newly built dock??

(5) I've heard talks about the ferry bridge for quite some time now but yet nothing is still been done should we have to wait for someone to get hurt before any work is done??

There is so many things i can point out about this island that needs to be fixed and change and i think its time we voice our opinions and be heard we shouldn't be pushed aside or left out because we are the out islands we have tourist that comes here just like they would visit anywhere else and i have concerns and issues that needs to be address. We have children growing up on this island that they call home something has to be done to make a better future for the younger generation of not only this island but this country!

I am voicing my concern simply because i hate to see this beautiful island just waste away when we have people who are willing to invest and make something out of this small island!

The small man never has the money or financial backing to support any of his ideas. The minute the small man comes up with an idea he is usally asked to produce something more to put his idea into actio, and normally he cannot afford too. Then you see the smalll man's ideas stolen and pushed through some other large finacial backing. Thats just the way life is. Its so sad and it sucks, but such as life.
