And as good as that is for Fox, there’s a little bit of historical wind at the Red Sox’s back too – every team that has won Game 1 since 1993 has gone on to win the World Series. Also, the Red Sox have won their last 9 World Series games (2004, 2007 and last night) in a row and the last time these two teams faced off in the World Series 9 years ago, Boston swept the series. At 9 PM, Criminal Minds (2.7/7) held even with its October 16 show. CBS was No. 2 last night with a rating of 2.4/7 and 10.37 million viewers.
