MEMBERS of the consular corps in Atlanta, Georgia raised the flags of their respective countries along the road leading up to the new terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
More passengers pass through this airport each year than any other in the world.
Included in the parade are the national banners of 45 countries with nonstop service to Atlanta.
Monique D Major-Vanderpool, the Consul at the Bahamas Consulate General in Atlanta, raised the Bahamas flag at the airport.
