CHILDREN from the Farm Road community could not wait to try out the new computers donated to their Urban Renewal Centre by the Lyford Cay Foundation on Thursday.
The foundation donated $20,000 worth of equipment - including 20 computers, office furniture, the installation and other items - to the Farm Road Urban Renewal computer lab.
Attending the official opening of the new lab, Minister of State for Social Development Loretta Butler-Turner said the foundation has provided the children of Farm Road with a wonderful opportunity to access and learn about computer technology.
