Domino's pizza supports young athletes programme

DOMINO'S Pizza said it was is proud to take the lead in supporting the young athletes of the Government Secondary Schools Association during the 19th Annual Track and Field Championships, held recently at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium. "We are happy with the results of this year's competition," said Alfred Forbes, president of GSSSA. "We appreciate all the teams who came out and participated in this year's event and would like to give congratulations to the repeat champions - C R Walker (Senior Division) and C H Reeves Raptors (Junior Division)." With support from all the senior and junior high schools throughout New Providence and the donation of $3,500 by Domino's Pizza, this year's championships proved to be a big success. "On behalf of the association," said Mr Forbes, "we would like to give thanks to Domino's Pizza Bahamas for the many years of partnership with GSSSA and for their sponsorship as it will go a long way in helping to reach our goal for the remainder of the sports programme. "Our commitment has always been to uplift the youth in the community," said Jennifer Basden, marketing manager for Domino's Pizza Bahamas. "We are grateful for opportunities such as these which allow us to directly support the development and progress of our Bahamian children."
