House Hunters hits the Bahamas

ERA Dupuch Real Estate agent Kyla Ralston was proud to be chosen last December to take part in the popular HGTV show House Hunters International, which attracts 20 million viewers weekly in the US. Now, as the April 11 air date nears, Ms Ralston said she is very excited to see the episode. "I look forward to sharing both the beauty of the Bahamas and the couple's search for the perfect beach-side apartment with the HGTV viewers," she said. For three hectic days, the producers and crew followed the couple and Ms Ralston as they explored different properties. "This couple had just moved from Dubai and were excited about having jobs that landed them in Nassau, and best of all, they knew exactly what they wanted," said the veteran realtor. "They wanted to take advantage of living on an island surrounded by beautiful waters for diving, fishing, swimming, snorkeling. Direct access to the beach was very important." Ralston poured through the listings searching for suitable homes and came across three - two in Cable Beach and one in Love Beach. "We had to identify three apartments that matched their budget and wish list," she said. "It was my responsibility to find the one apartment that best matched their criteria. The show airs on April 11 at 10.30pm on HGTV. Mr Ralston said: "I am looking forward to seeing the show. It is great exposure for the Bahamas, showcasing a variety of rental properties along with the attractions of living in the Bahamas".
