Improved water

EDITOR, The Tribune. THERE is much talk around town about the roads and infrastructure programme of the government and all the inconvenience. So I write to compliment the government on its efforts. If improvements are not made now, when? I am a resident of the Eastern District of the island of New Providence, and live in a subdivision which is at least 50 years old. For many years, it was impossible to wash clothes, especially the white ones, as the water was always rusty. My government saw fit to change the water pipes in my area, and I am happy to report that my water now is clear as crystal. I can even drink it if I choose. We do not seem to want to look further than our noses to see the improvement which will come once the programme is completed. No pain, no gain. Thank you for entertaining my views.
