Name: Gabriela Donaldson/Iesha Shepherd Sport: Tennis Age: 14 G-Series Performance: Donaldson and Shepherd defeated the team of Kianah Motosono (USA) and Eva Frazzoni (Bermuda) 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in a three-set thriller in the girls' 14s doubles final of the ITF Junkanoo Bowl at the BLTA National Tennis Centre on Wednesday. This year's edition of the Junkanoo Bowl featured more than 120 players from about 20 countries around the world, as far as Korea, Europe, the US and Caribbean. Donaldson also reached the girls' 14 singles final. However, Motosono got the upper hand to win 6-2 ,6-1. Shepherd, the top seed, was ousted after she fell victim to Motosono 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinals of the singles draw. * All student athletes are eligible to be selected as a Gatorade Athlete of the Week.
