'LET GOD'S NAME BE SANCTIFIED'

UNDER the theme "Let God's Name Be Sanctified", the Jehovah's Witnesses will be holding the first of four two-day Circuit Assemblies at their Dolphin Drive Assembly Hall beginning Saturday. The inspiration for the theme was taken from Jesus' words in teaching his disciples the model prayer in Matthew 6:9. This Saturday, the talk "Make God's Name Known as Full-Time Servants" will be held to discuss why the full-time service is a rewarding way of life. That talk will be followed by a symposium of talks under the theme "Beware of Bringing Reproach on Jehovah's Name." The information presented aims to help all in attendance to avoid becoming entrapped by four potential snares. Also this Saturday, the programme will feature the talk entitled "Why God's Name Must Be Sanctified." The speaker will provide answers as to what will help Jehovah's Witnesses ministers to preach with zeal when people seem to show little interest and what will help them to carry out a meaningful ministry. On Sunday, a four-part symposium will be held on how persons sanctify God's name by their thoughts, speech, decisions and conduct. The public is particularly invited to hear the address on Sunday afternoon entitled "Jehovah Will Sanctify His Great Name at Armageddon." The programme of the Circuit Assembly, according to a spokesman, "will help each of us to fulfill our serious responsibility as bearers of God's name." "The talks, interviews, demonstrations, soliloquies and experiences contain rich and timely spiritual food." Another highlight of the Circuit Assemblies will be the baptism of newly dedicated Witnesses at a local beach on Saturday morning during the noon break. The other three Circuit Assemblies - two in English - will be held from March 17-18, March 24-25, and the final one from March 31-April 1 in Haitian Creole. Jehovah's Witnesses extend an invitation to all interested persons to attend and benefit from the Circuit Assemblies' programme. Admission is free and no collections will be taken.
