Majority in favour if legalising gambling

THE majority of voters in an online Tribune poll have said they would back legalised gambling if government put the issue to a referendum. A total of 56.8 per cent of those voting said they were for the legalisation of a national lottery and regulated 'numbers' houses. Meanwhile, 21.1 per cent said they were for the legalisation of just a national lottery and 22.1 per cent said 'no' to all legalised forms of gambling.
