SWIMMING MASTERS SWIFT Swimming is expected to attend its seventh consecutive US National Masters Short Course Swimming Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, April 26-29. At this year's event, Swift will be represented by swimmers Percy Knowles, Andy Knowles, Nancy Knowles, Jeremy Knowles, Elliott Knowles and Beth Collins. The club had its masters swimmers first attend the 2006 US Nationals in Coral Springs, Florida. NPSA OPENING NEW Providence Softball Association (NPSA) action is slated to resume with a double header Tuesday at the newly renovated Banker's Field, Baillou Hills Sporting Complex. The YII Shipping Wildcats are slated to play the Black Scorpions at 7pm. And in the men's feature contest at 8:30pm, the Dorin United Hitmen are scheduled to face the CCG Mighty Mitts. MARIO FORD CAMP THE annual Mario Ford Baseball Camp is all set to start on Saturday (April 28) and will run through June 23. The camp is set for 9-11am at Windsor Park, East Street and Wulff Road, each Saturday. The camp is opened to boys and girls between the ages of four and 15.
